Charlie is our Nubian Goat, very intelligent and pleased to welcome all visitors to Anegada! Nubian Goats have a proud history, and noble bearing as shown by their "Roman" noses.

Charlie's Book is Published
	A charming new story and coloring book for children, entitled "TALES OF BILLYGOAT CHARLIE OF ANEGADA, has just been published. It is written by Sue Wheatley.  Billygoat Charlie is owned by the author. The first of this series is called "Charlie Visits the Flamingoes." Together, Charlie and Sue encounter many fun-filled experiences on Anegada. Children around the world will find these stories enchanting.  The book is a fine gift to bring back as a souvenir of life on a remote Caribbean coral island. The author, Sue Wheatley, has lived on Anegada since 1985. One day, an orphan baby goat was brought, in a small cardboard box, to Anegada. Visitors brought him by boat to the island. He had been found abandoned by the roadside late at night on Tortola. Within hours, "Charlie" was adopted by Sue and her husband, and hilarious adventures have ensued.
